For sale is a used, entry level Roku Smart Home Security System (retail $65+) and 4 smart plugs.(retail $30) This system is self-monitored (it does not call emergency services for you.) An alarm sounds if intrusion is detected. There are no monthly fees. Additional sensor, i.e. motion detection are available.The security system includes the hub, keypad, panic button, and 4 window or door sensors (2 more than in the kit and are brand new and would cost extra). There is also an additional partial sensor which could be used in the event of failure. Batteries are not included. Google indicates that the system can be reprogrammed by a new user by performing a factory reset but we have not tried this. The security system and the smart plugs are controlled by an app which is free to download. The smart plugs can be used to control and schedule any 120V appliance. Although meeting and pickup is preferred, the system components are small and light enough that the could be packed and shipped at buyer’s expense. We have converted to a different, monitored system and no longer need this one.
